La Musica

Kenny Chesney's "Somewhere With You". Kind of sad, but in a good way. I'm not a huge fan of his, but he's growing on me. (Will replace with music video when/if it comes out).

In honor of Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton tying the knot, here are two fun wedding songs. (Well, they're actually two fun songs about dysfunctional weddings):

"White Liar", Ms. Lambert

"Little White Church", Little Big Town

5/4: It's almost warm outside!!!!! Ace of Base "Cruel Summer"

4/25/11: I like a good, sad country song just as much as the next guy (girl). Here are two goodies I've come across lately: Ronnie Dunn "We All Bleed Red"

& Jerrod Neimann "Want Do You Want"

4/20/2011: Adele, "Rolling In The Deep". I appreciate her voice and artistic efforts.

I think it's April 10th, But I really don't know!! "Ghetto Supastar" with Mya.

3/28: Bush's "Glycerine". Because it really is awesome.

Official Song of the NCAA Sweet 16: Eminem's "Cinderella Man".

3/17: In honor of all things Irish...Drop Kick Murphy's "I'm Shipping Up To Boston".Great song. Favorite Irish movie: "The Departed". Pretty awesome as well.

3/16: Jeremih's "Broken Down".

3/5: (yes...I know...I've been busy this week) "Here's to you Mrs. Robinson" by Simon & Garfunkel. Why? Because The Graduate was awesome the first time around, and even that little modern attache "Rumor Has It" with lame Kevin Costnar was entertaining, especially when Shirly McLane almost beats the shit out of him.

2/25:
2/24: Britney Spear's "Womanizer". Another diva. I'm in quite the diva mood lately.

2/23: Beyonce's Sweet Dreams". What, a diva.

 2/22: Aerosmith's "Dream on".

2/21: Eminem's "Till I Collapse". If you need a great workout song, this is it!

2/20: "Perfect Day" featuring Jim Jones & Juelz Santana. (Official music video not out yet- album not released yet either).

2/17-2/19 (because I'm busy!): "Drift Away" by Dobie Gray. Music Videos have come a long way baby!

.

2/16: "Jesus Walk This Way" by Kanye West. One of his best, in my opinion:

2/15: "S & M" Rhianna. Because it's crazy. In a good way.

2/14: "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry. This song is so romantic. Is that weird, or what?

Also, one of my favorite artists, and favorite all-time love song: Bruce Sprongsteen's "Secret Garde", but, NOT the one with Tom Cruise and what's her name on Jerry Maguire.

2/13: Miseria Cantara, The Beginning" by A.F.I. We all need a little punk in our lives now and then.

2/12: "The House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals. Why, you ask? Because it's pretty badass.

2/11: "mOVE YA bODY" BY Nina Sky.

2/10: "Teenage Wasteland" by The Who. Makes me want to go to the beach.

2/7- 2/9: P. Diddy & Dirty Money collaborated on the album "Last Train To Paris". Booyah. Look it up.

2/6: David Grey "The One I Love".

2/5: Wyclef Jean "Gone Till November".

2/4: Bob Dylan's "Hurricane". Bob, You're the man!

2/3-2/3 It's all about Eminem pairing up with other amazing talent! "No Love" with lil' Wayne & Eminem & "I Need A Doctor" with Dr. Dre, Skyler Grey & Dr. Dre.

2/1 "Doo Wop" (That Thing) Lauren Hill. Look at those dreads & that weave! they're awesome!

1/31/11 & 2/1/11: "My Hero" by the Foo Fighters. Original version & the acoustic version.

Song of The Day- 1/27: "Call Me" by Blondie. I think this video does not fit the song, but, it's about fun in the early 90's.

Song of The Week- 1/22-1/26: "Wanna be A Baller" by Biggie & Lil' Troy (among others). A throwback to the rap of the 90's, and fat rims on Mercedes. Please Note: Video may be inappropriate for those under 18 and/or easily offended. So, please use your own judgement. It's Biggie baby.

This song gets two days: 1/20 & 1/21 because it's super badass. "Down On Me" by Jeremih & 50 Cent.

1/18/11 sONG OF tHE dAY: "Heavy" by Collective Soul. Because it just might make you feel lighter than you were before.

1/17/11 Song of the day: "Sweep" by Blue Foundation. it's an awesome song, not so awesome music video. But, the original version is way better than all the remixes out there.

1/16/11 Song of the day: "I can't Forget Her" by Dierks Bentley. Why? Because some small part of all of us wants to be the one girl that guys still think about.

1/15/11 Song of the day: "Under The Milky Way Tonight" by The Church. Just because.

1/14/11 Song of the day: "Grenade" by Bruno Mars.Because it's awesome to tell a hater to "tell the devil you said hey when you get back from where you're from."

Dear IPOD,
Where have you been hiding? I've been using my shuffle for a very long time because I could not find you. I'm happy you're back but, I'm just a little confused about where the music on you came from. I do not recognize most of this. Especially the new-age european techno/crazy monk chanting/bell chamber combos. Did you cheat on me and plug yourself in to someone else's computer? I am also confused as to why an M.I.A. song is listed under Kanye West. But, lets take it slow and solve one mystery at a time. I'm just happy we're back together again.

Sincerely,

Confused, but happily rockin' out.
