Hair: One word: AVEDA, AVEDA, AVEDA. ok, so that's three words.

Brilliant Shampoo
 Rosemary Mint Shampoo

Face:    I used to dabble with all kinds of expensive cleaners/skin care 'systems' from Murad to Chanel. But, now I just use Cetaphil EVERY morning & night. And, I NEVER go to bed with makeup on.

I also exfoliate RELIGIOUSLY! Clinique's 7-day Scrub is awesome for the frequent exfoliator, but, I also really like to use generic store-brand Apricot Scrub provided I don't scrub too hard. The objective of frequent exfoliation is to clear away dead skin cells so new cells can get the moisture they need to keep you wrinkle-resistent- I gues there is no point in trying to be wrinkle-free since non of us are getting any younger!

I love Rose scented products. I've been using Weleda Rose Moisturizer (target had their line on sale so I stocked up!).

Remember whatever eye cream you use- apply it EVERY DAY! And, also apply it to the corners of your mouth and lips! You don't need to buy the expensive stuff- just be consistent with your applications and you will see postive results.

When I need extra moisture for my face & neck I apply several drops of food-grade Grapeseed oil, massage in and allow to soak in overnight. This remedy gets fast results and will leave your skin non-oily (weird huh?) and supple. DO NOT go out in the sun after applying Grapeseed Oil. Your skin will fry! I only apply Grapeseed oil to my face at night and make sure I wash my face in the morning to avoid this. People, I know this from experience. :)

I also use Any Bliss Products. They are great!

Sunscreen:

Peter Thomas Roth Brush-on Dry mineral Sunscreen. Easy & Awesome.

Lips:                                          Smith's Rosebud Salve, for dry, over worked lips.

This Paul & Joe Lipstick is Adorable. (I would say it's BA-NANAS!, like Rachel Zoe, but I'm saving that for another post.)
Check out Meilily.com for more super-cute kitty pics and Paul-Joe-Beautie.com for more from Paul & Joe.

Body: I believe aromatherapy at the end of the day can help earse the stress of the day and relax your mind & body so you can rest easier at night. An easy way to enjoy aromatherapy is to buy your favorite smelling essential oils (at any health food store- make sure you smell them before you buy - some things you think will smell good smell grosse:) and shake in a jar with Epsom Salt (about $5 a bag from any drug store) and pour about a cup in a hot bath. Soak for 15 min and voila! Your skin is bellissima! My favorite oils to use are Rose & Bergamot. Bergamot has anti-deppressant properties and calms the central nervouse system so you can relax. But, please read below before using any essential oil!

Be careful when using and/or mixing essential oils! They can sometimes make your skin ultra-sensitive to sunlight (in the case of Bergamot & Grapeseed Oils it will cause a sunburn if you go in the sun directly after applying) and/or have adverse reactions causing rashes and/or asthma-type symptoms. It doesn't hurt to spend a few minutes researching herbs/scents on the internet/library before you emerse your body in a tub full of it!

Sugar Scrub. Yum. Try something exotic like Cocoa Butter scrub.  I'm going to try and make my own.with body oils and granulated sugar- I'll let you know how that turns out.

Fingers & Toes:
I really think Chanel nail Polish followed by a close OPI are the best out there. The Chanel 'wears' down instead of chipping or peeling which is really nice. I prefer a nude & light pinks (which are totally in this season), Classic Red or Black. The great thing though, is they only cost $23, which if you loike to do your own nails, is cheaper than going and getting them done.

House Wares:

Tyler Candles, my fave: Limelight! I also like the Lavendar (small size) to put in all my lingerie drawers. They are perfect and the scent lasts forever!
